Passing out - the First Batch of Angampora Trained SLAF Personnel

The first batch of Angampora trained SLAF personnel passed out last Friday after a practical session at Ratmalana. Angampora is a Martial Art that is indigeneous to Sri Lanka and it was introduced to the SLAF months ago. The first batch of trainees comprised of 28 SLAF personnel and the course was conducted by Ajantha Mahantharachchi Gurunnanse. Commander of sri lanka air force Airmartial H. D. Abeywickrama was the chief guest at the passing out ceremony. Members of the air force, board of management and other ranks were also present at the event.
